Educational Institutions

The American Antiquarian Society holds a significant collection of approximately 10,000 pre-twentieth century U.S. school and college catalogs. The collection covers a broad spectrum of educational institutions, including colleges and universities, seminaries and theological institutes, normal schools, medical schools, academies, and military schools. Additional related materials include obituary records, fraternities, class histories, speeches, commencement exercises, class reports, registers, prospectuses, circulars, proceedings, annual reports, magazines, photograph albums, and other materials related to U.S. educational institutions and associations.
