Author Aimee Parkison is a professor of creative writing in the English Department at Oklahoma State University. She has been awarded the Catherine Doctorow Innovative Fiction Prize from Fiction Collective Two, the Kurt Vonnegut Prize from North American Review , the Starcherone Prize for Innovative Fiction, and the Jack Dyer Prize.
