Huzza for Commodore Rodgers again describes the Atlantic tour by President, commanded by Commodore John Rodgers (see A Happy New Year to Commodore Rodgers). This text is a wonderful imitation of the song given as its indicated tune, “Frog and the Mouse,” parodying the repeated lines and burdens of the original (see The Frog and Mouse).
