Lady Washington's lamentation for the death of her husband

This text is a new edition of Lady Washington’s Lamentation, using the same cut simply moved to the left and the text reset. The spelling of “Washington” is corrected here, but “lamentation” is now wrong. Coverly eventually corrected this edition, reprinting it with everything spelled correctly (Winslow #30). The text appeared in several other broadside editions and in seven songsters between 1802 and 1816 (Flanders 190-92; R. Keller).
