Michael McGiffert

Michael McGiffert died on July 2, 2016. He was a highly respected scholar and former editor of the William & Mary Quarterly at the Omohundro Institute. He also taught at the College of William and Mary. Over the years, he conducted research in the AAS reading room. At the time of his death he was completing a history of seventeenth-century Puritan covenant thought in Britain and New England.
