Margery MacNeil Dearborn

Margery “Tommy” MacNeil Donnelly Gustafson Dearborn (elected October 1989) died on June 14, 2025. In 1969—when many cities, including Worcester, were demolishing historic buildings—Dearborn helped found the Worcester Heritage Society, which later became Preservation Worcester. Dearborn was involved in many other community organizations, and sat on the boards of the Edward Street Day Care Center, the Visiting Nurse Association, Bancroft School, and Notre Dame Academy, as well as the building committee of the Worcester Art Museum.
