About Worcester
Worcester, Massachusetts, is the second largest city in New England with a population of 185,000. Located in the very center of the state, Worcester is 45 minutes west of Boston and north of Providence, Rhode Island.
Worcester has many medical services including the U-Mass Medical Center, the main teaching hospital for the University of Massachusetts, and Medical City, a large hospital complex in the center of the city.
