Likely meant to be included in W.H. Jackson's Descriptive catalogue of photographs of North American Indians, Department of the Interior, U.S.G.S., Washington, D.C., 1877, no. 807. Number 807 does not appear in Jackson, though nos. 808-814 are images of Winnebago men, women and children. The same man appears in photograph no. 808 and is likely Naw-cher-choo-nu-kaw, or Bad Thunder.
Cabinet size un-mounted albumen print. Full length seated portrait of a Winnebago man, seen wearing three medallions around his neck.
