COVID-19 UPDATE
Access to the Library
American Antiquarian Society Guest Vaccination Policy
(updated October 31, 2022)
Effective November 1, 2022, AAS will no longer require COVID-19 vaccination for staff (including interns and volunteers), scanners, event/tour attendees, researchers, and other onsite visitors/vendors. This means we will no longer require proof of vaccination to be onsite.
AAS will continue to abide by a mask-optional policy on campus, as it has been since March 2022.
If you have any symptoms such as a cough or high temperature, we encourage you to please stay home and contact us to reschedule your visit.
AAS will maintain our current vaccination requirement for anyone residing in multi-unit fellows housing (our properties at 9 Regent and 4 Regent).
AAS will monitor updates on community transmission rates and update these guidelines as necessary.
Please know, while we will no longer require vaccination, we strongly encourage staff and visitors to get vaccinated against the coronavirus. You can find more information on how to stay “up to date” with the vaccine and boosters based on your personal situation here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/stay-up-to-date.html
