stacksThe American Antiquarian Society aims to collect one example of everything printed in what was once British North America before the year 1877 (and a few collections extend through 1900), as well as select manuscripts. In two centuries of collecting, AAS has accumulated some four million items towards that comprehensive goal and continues to add to these holdings through active acquisitions guided by our collecting policies.
