Woods conducted research on African-Americans in the West for a music/dance performance piece entitled Ballad of the Black Cowboy.

About the Fellow

Andrea E. Woods is a dancer from Brooklyn, New York. At the time of her fellowship, she was rehearsal director for the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company. Her other performance experience includes working with the Danny Sloan Dance Company, and the Clive Thompson Dance Company. At AAS,
