McLoughin Brothers often capitalized on current events to promote products.  They produced this paper doll of Charles Sherwood Stratton, better known as Tom Thumb, during the height of the performer’s fame. This set included many of the costumes worn by Stratton during his performances with P.T. Barnum in New York.

Adopted by Justin G. Schiller
