Third Century Scholars’ Fund
The Third Century Scholars’ Fund supports a wide array of scholarly activities at the American Antiquarian Society. The fund helps enable the Society to develop new kinds of fellowships, such as collaborative workshops and remote “digital” fellowships. The fund can also assist publication (letterpress or electronic) of academic works, such as bibliographies based on AAS collections and an electronic journal of early American history and culture.
To ensure wise use of the fund, a committee of member scholars will advise AAS regarding specific expenditures.
Donations to the Third Century Scholars’ Fund help guarantee that future generations of scholars can benefit from opportunities for research and teaching of the sort that so many AAS researchers have already enjoyed.
