1864 In verse. With pictures.
1 leaf cut in the shape of a circle folded into eight
wedge-shaped leaves to form sixteen pages. Inner eight pages
bear the text.
Outer eight pages bear printed color wood engravings
illustrating the text. Outer pages folded so that the
illustration of the poem's hero, captioned "Powder boy"
is face up.
Title and imprint statement transcribed from two adjacent
pages of text: printed near the center of the circle.
Copyright 1864 by T.W. Strong. Thomas W. Strong was located
at 98 Nassau St., New York, between 1843 and 1866. Copyright
statement appears just below the title and imprint statement,
just above the center of the circle.
