Dessert No. 7

Description

Still life image of a glass flute filled with champagne on a clothed table surrounded by a walnut, grapes, and peaches. A fly also stands on the table.
This image is from a series of dessert prints published by Prang, and was lithographed by J. Huttl after German still life artist Peter Joseph Wilms. Here, the image is seen in a proof state. The lines at top and bottom allow the chromist to align the stones so that they match up. Along the bottom, twenty-six colors are seen, with their number order, showing that twenty-six separate stones were used to create this one print.
