Call to the Meeting
The one hundred ninety-seventh Annual
Meeting
of the American Antiquarian Society will be held in Antiquarian Hall in
Worcester, Massachusetts, on
Friday afternoon, the twenty-third of October, at five-thirty o'clock
- to hear the report of the Council,
- to elect officers and Councilors,
- to elect new members, and
- to transact such other business as may properly come before the
meeting.
Related activities for members and guests will take place Thursday
through Saturday, according to the appended schedule.

outlining the collections and activities of the Society.

Panel Discussion on Christopher Columbus Baldwin (1800-1835), lawyer, collector, diarist, and the Society's third librarian. Panelists include: Michael H. Hoeflich, Univeristy of Kansas; Jack Larkin, Old Sturbridge Village; and Ann Fabian, Rutgers University.

The Society has reserved a block of rooms at the Crowne Plaza in
Worcester
at the special rate of $109 single or double, plus tax. Reservations may
be made by calling the hotel at (508) 791-1600 and identifying yourself as
part of the American Antiquarian Society group. Any unreserved rooms in
the block will be released on Thursday, October 1, 2009.
