AAS curators collect self-published books and newspapers of all kinds.  Much of this material was printed on small hobby presses that could be set up on a table in the parlor or office.  This advertising material promotes just such a press.  Simon P. Cooper, an inventor and printer, offers his five dollar set-up to businessmen and boys looking to make extra money.  He even included a sample card printed on one of his presses.
