Catalog Record | Enlarge Image | Adopt a Book Home

This prospectus for a new periodical extolling the virtues of Freemasonry was issued in Richmond, Virginia, and includes a space for signing up subscribers.  The proposed magazine was going to contain serious orations and addresses “decked off” with songs and poems.  Each 72 page issue was promised to be printed handsomely from new type.  A periodical with the same title was produced in Philadelphia from 1811 to 1812, but no record exists of one produced in Richmond.
