Manuscript Almanacs
Oliver Shorey [?] manuscript almanacs, 1820-22.
This highly unusual volume contains almanac calculations and related
material for Salem, Massachusetts for the months of January to March,
1820; for
Maine, January to June, 1821; and for Portland, Maine for August 1822.
It appears likely that these calculations were done as an exercise. The
name "Oliver Shorey" appears on the 1821 title page although Shorey has
so far eluded attempts at identification.
