A Narrative, of the Excursion and Ravages of the King’s Troops under the Command of General Gage, on the Nineteenth of April, 1775 … Worcester: Isaiah Thomas, 1775. [catalog record]
Gift of Isaiah Thomas, 1812.
During the early 1770s, Isaiah Thomas had a successful printing business in Boston. In April 1775, Thomas removed his printing office and equipment from Boston inland to Worcester, where he could print without British interference. Shortly after Lexington and Concord, the Massachusetts Provincial Congress commissioned Thomas to print this pamphlet as an official account of the battles.
