Another variation on the flap book, this version of Aladdin was featured in the McLoughlin Brothers catalog for 1882.  It was one in a set of five titles called Pantomime Toy Books. Retailing at 35 cents each, they contained cleverly layered flaps that showed five different scenes, with nine trick changes (lifting one of the flaps on this spread reveals the genie), making fourteen transformations in all.
