Hartford lithographer E.C. Kellogg designed this lithographic parlor print of three children perfectly engrossed in reading the story of the ill-fated Cock Robin.  In this era, lithographed parlor prints provided middle class Americans affordable access to attractive pictures.  The Cock Robin book in the boy’s hand is the same scale and shape as the Turner & Fisher picture book also up for adoption.

Adopted by Robert and Lillian Fraker, Savoy Books
