A good publisher’s binding is eye-catching and causes a potential buyer to pick up the volume and, hopefully, purchase it as well. This 1910 book with an angry dragon was described in the firm’s catalog: “This is a very handsome edition of Hawthorne's admirable version of the ancient Greek mythological fables. The book contains 128 pages, and is fully and finely illustrated.”
