This is a delightful bird alphabet chromolithographed in vivid colors by the English-based firm Raphael Tuck & Sons, a direct competitor of New York picture book publisher McLoughlin Bros. This book is printed on “untearable” linen cloth, which is probably the reason it has survived in fairly good shape.
