This handbill gives a long list of tips on how to present the results of your fur-trapping business for maximum profits.  Issued by a fur dealer in central Maine, the sheet offers tips for trimming, combing and skinning pelts to enhance their value.  The advice must have been good – the text appeared nearly verbatim in Scientific American in 1887, and was reprinted in newspapers and taxidermy manuals through the early 1900s.
