Little Dolls for the Littlest Girls
Emma. New York: McLoughlin Bros., ca. 1875.
This tiny paper doll was issued by McLoughlin Bros as one in a series of inexpensive toys for very small children. The Gem Series dolls sold for a penny each. Printed lithographically, the sets included a small doll, usually of a baby or toddler, and two outfits, all stored in a thin paper wrapper.
