This newspaper is now the oldest newspaper from Maryland in our collection.  It was the second newspaper published in Maryland (the first one having the same title) and began Jan. 17, 1745.  The publisher was Jonas Green.  The one notable piece in this issue is a poem, “An humble ADDRESS to that most venerable and ancient Punk, the Whore of Babylon.”
